What is Aran Canvas?

Canvas is Aran's visual workspace for early creative development. It's where you collect references, sketch ideas, upload images and video clips, and start shaping the visual direction of your project before anything is formalized.

Think of Canvas as a digital corkboard that understands creative work. You can draw directly on it, drop in images from anywhere, paste video references, and arrange everything spatially. Unlike generic whiteboard tools, Canvas is designed specifically for visual storytelling—it knows what filmmakers, designers, and creative teams actually do with their reference material.

Canvas also connects to the rest of Aran. References you collect can inform AI-generated beats. Sketches can become the basis for storyboard frames. Visual exploration feeds directly into structured development work. It's not a separate tool—it's the starting point for everything else.

How creatives use Canvas
